Zombie Outbrick: Episode 11

blockcomics
6th Jun 2011, 11:50 PM

This is Episode 11 - but technically, since 2 episodes (Episodes 1 + 2) were released at once on day Zombie Outbrick was created, today marks the 10-week anniversary of the first release of Zombie Outbrick.

There were a lot of heavy special effects involved in this episode, which required a lot of extra photography for the news anchor and helicopter footage. For this reason, this episode took much longer than normal to produce. But at least it's still Monday (here, at least.)

Anyway, I hope my readers have enjoyed these first 10 weeks of Zombie Outbrick, as there will hopefully be many more weeks to come!

Just one word: Excelent!

I realy love how you created the news and the TV! Wow :)
Also, I'm pretty curious about what's going to happen next!

Nightmare on Elm Street! Where's Freddie Kruger?

Looks good, I can't help but wonder if the commentary from the news anchor of episode 11 and 10 is a typo... as we go from there's riots and then once again there are reports of riots...

Anyways!... Zombies! on the t.v.! they're here!

MADAMELECTER: I'm glad you're enjoying it. :)

ADELAIDE C.F. : Thank you!

And the news/TV certainly took quite a while to get together, I'm glad you think it turned out well!

SILVER FOX: Haha! I'll admit that I didn't even make that connection when coming up with "Elm Street." It was the best I could come up with, probably in part because there's an Elm Street near where I live.

And the news commentary isn't necessarily a typo... it is perhaps more of an error due to my rushing the script a little bit.

But there is an explanation -
"reports of major riots in many parts of the city" does not necessarily mean that there is any uncertainty or doubt about the existence of said riots - just that reports of them are coming in from everywhere.

Although I agree that "reports" makes the news anchor sound very uncertain about it. That's poor wording on my part, I suppose. I may have to change that sometime in the future.

And I'm glad you spotted the zombie! You may be the first to notice him.

You could, since I've given more thought or look at your response... contribute it to the Anchor's error. News sometimes doesn't always get their scripts right. And even images shown by the station will be mistakes.

That's a good point. I'd imagine the people on the news would probably be pretty freaked out, considering what's going on and how early it is in the morning, and may slip up in a few places.

Thanks, ZombieMutts!

There was supposed to be a new episode yesterday, but I haven't finished it yet. There should be a new episode out in the next few days, though.
