Zombie Outbrick: Episode 12

I apologize for the lateness of this comic.

After cleaning up my setup a few days ago, I misplaced a few crucial pieces, some of which I did not find until today.

My malfunctioning camera has also been causing further delays.

My goal for the next few weeks is to build up a buffer, so that late comics like this don't happen as often anymore.

I'm also somewhat sorry that after a two-day wait, this isn't the most exciting episode to read. I think it's still important, nonetheless.

Thanks for reading!

As they said on BCN, sometimes you have to build up to stuff--that is what you are doing :) I'm a little confused about the last panel tho. Why are they just staring at the boss or is something behind him or something?

But I'm glad you finally put it up! I hope things go smoother for you next time. :)

Yeah, that's true. A good build up is definitely important - but even I myself am starting to expect more action from this comic.

I suppose the staring is kind of awkward... But the Boss just pointed out that not only are the riots not being taken care of by law enforcement, but also the paramedics don't seem to be coming to help anyone who had gotten shot during Mr. Ashford's rampage (including Mr. Ashford himself.)

And so, Karen and Chris upon realizing the depth of the situation have nothing to say at the moment.

I agree that it could've been done better. Chalk it up to a rushed script, I suppose!

I understand the last panel. In order to get the bosses wife, they'll have to go out somewhere, and in doing so, they might lose their lives. It's a silent acceptance of what has to be done, and maybe a moment to pray to a diety of their choice.

Or maybe I'm full of sh**.

Monkey, I think you're definitely in the ballpark. We'll have to see what happens with the Boss's wife.

I don't think they've gotten that far yet, but they're definitely realizing that their lives are probably in danger. The realization that society itself seems to be crumbling is scary enough to warrant an silent, awkward final frame I think.

Why Dont they just call his wife?

That's a good point, Encoded. But who says they won't?

Anyway, thank you for leaving a comment. Just so you know, you can leave the "title" space blank when posting a comment, if you want.

Is it just my browser or are the comments centered like poetry?

Anyway...I love the room design especially that table.

I never really thought of it that way... But yes, the comments are centered (like poetry.)

ZOMBIEMUTTS: I'm glad you like my set.

The table required most of my available 2x2 black tiles. The TV required a bit of creative thinking, too.

JACAPIG: Thank you! There should be plenty more suspense to come.

Yeah, sometimes the images don't show up. It happens to me too, reloading the page once or twice seems to work, usually.
