Unfortunately, our characters don't quite seem to grasp the severity of their situation as they try to determine where they will go from here. And it seems Karen has something to say...
I know a few of these pictures are a little blurry, but hopefully it's not that noticeable... I was cursing myself for not having taken multiples of all my shots, and forgetting to switch to from "manual" to "automatic" focus for some of them...
As you can see, the group is kind of in an awkward stage of limbo at this point. They don't exactly know what's happening yet, nor do they know what to do next. But they can tell that they need to do something... I found this transitional stage somewhat difficult to illustrate, so I hope I can pull it off in the end...
I wonder what the group will do next?
Nice work dude, enojoying these...Just realised you've made a group of survivors up very subtley, and they'll have to stick together for survival. Nice job mate :D
Thanks Nekrospike!
I'm glad you thought the build up to the group of survivors was subtle. It only took about 30 episodes to establish! ;)
It's all good. That poor boss... "I need to get home to my wife..."
It's very clear that the group doesn't fully grasp what's happening, even when Officer Peterson has just told them while he himself is still trying to figure things out.
Can't wait for the next episode.
Yeah, I simply can't stand stories in which the crap hits the fan, and then the "average Joe" main character instantaneously becomes an action hero. I specifically didn't want this comic to have the "Oh no! This must be a zombie attack... quick, let's all become zombie hunters and save the world!" feel to it. In real life, there's a lot more confusion and panic than that.
I'm glad you're looking forward to the next one! It's a good thing Zombie Outbrick updates twice a week, now. ;)
You'd have had me in agony if it still only updated once a week.
Nope, you sure can't.
...Until he gets himself and everyone around him killed and/or zombified in the process! ;)
(Mostly joking, that's certainly not what I've got written in the script.)
To bad there is no black guy/girl survivor. He/she would be the first to die. Or maby they would survive. Also good work on the photos I would never have been able to see the blur.
Haha, I suppose you're right, thewriter13! That does seem to be the unfortunate trend...
And thanks for the compliments on the photos! I suppose I'm my own worst critic. ;)
