Zombie Outbrick: Episode 6

This got finished exactly 21 hours and 32 minutes later than I had hoped... But at least I finished while it was still Monday! (Still Monday for me, at least)

My apologies for the late episode this week.

More suspense? Why?

Wasn't signed in before. Sorry for the double-comment. What I said above still stands.

That's ok, Monkey, the more comments the better!

To answer your question... It's to suck you in and make you come back next week!

...Not really, I just couldn't end things properly, unless I made a double-episode (which I don't have time to make today)...

I just took a look at my script for the next 3 episodes... they all end with similar suspense...

Sorry. I was under the impression that people enjoyed suspense, anyway.

I enjoy suspense, personally.

I love the one guy who is faded and he's screaming and running away! :) My favorite! Also I love how you have th perfect excuse to use the "I Hate Mondays!" statement! Kudos to you!

Haha, thanks MadameLecter! :)

Yes, Chris's Monday just keeps getting worse... LOL

I could almost hear him screaming "I hate Mondays!" from atop a certain abnormally large creature... maybe someday! ;)

I think I might be able to work it into the script somewhere, but it may take a while.... ;)

It wasn't sort of an indignant question, more like a curious question. The suspense is good, because it keeps me coming back to check out the comic. Funny, that your main character (I'm assuming your main character)hates Mondays, yet you update on Monday. I dunno, I just noticed that. Regardless, I think your comic has captured the suspense more than Bricks of the Dead ever could; BotD always had bright sets and bright colors. I think you have captured the Zombie feel much better than BotD.

Ah, I see. I'm glad that you do, in fact, enjoy the suspense.

And the updating on Mondays thing is supposed to be somewhat ironic. The "I hate Mondays..." quote is also supposed to be ironic because, (I think) everyone can relate to the feeling of the dreaded Monday, after the weekend is over and it's time to get back to work. Bad things generally tend to happen on Mondays, in my experience! But at least most people's Mondays don't turn out like Chris's!

And wow, I never thought anyone would say Zombie Outbrick is more suspenseful and zombie-esque than Bricks of the Dead! That really means a lot!

I suppose BotD is fairly bright colorful most of the time, I hadn't really thought about that much before.

Another thing I just noticed. Darn, I just gotta keep coming back, don't I? I really like the plant you have in the corner. I didn't notice that at first...

Monkey's right... that plant in the corner when you can see, has a good little mini build to it.

Also... bottom left panel... is that guy screaming, shot or turning into a zombie?

A Monkey:

Haha, there's nothing wrong with coming back, I always love to hear comments!

I'm glad you like the plant.

When I first thought, "Office scene," I immediately thought "office plant!" And so, I did my best to build one.

It's sort of meant to show that people working at this office are, naturally, trying to make the place feel a little less... dead. ;)

Silver Fox:

Thanks!

And that guy is just running away screaming. So no, there's still technically no zombies in this zombie comic, even after a month...

Love the running scared dude in the second-to-last panel. His face was perfect. And the secretary doesn't seen phased by the gunman.

Hah, thanks! It's actually from the old Alpha Team sets, and his left arm is actually concealing the "headset" printed on the head.

As for Karen, I think she's a little too shocked by what she's seeing to freak out, just yet. She's just begun another slow day at the office, mind you... ;)
