Zombie Outbrick: Episode 7

I apologize for the incredible lateness of this episode, which was supposed to be released on Monday. This is the longest delayed release in the short history of Zombie Outbrick! I will do my best to make sure nothing like this happens again.

Thank you for your patience!

...

This is the first real action scene in Zombie Outbrick so far (still no zombies, sorry), so I've been experimenting with camera angles.

Also, just to clarify, the streak by the Boss's head is the bullet going past his head; if Mr. Ashford had actually hit him, I assure you, there would be blood everywhere!

Figures. I don't think the boss is going to survive much longer anyway. I'm guessing that the Main Character gets the gun somehow, which would be useful against the unrevealed Zombies...

Good one - More suspense. Sigh. ; )

It was clear to me... no need to clarify...

There's some good use of angles on the scenes too.

Ooh! Close call! How'd I see that coming? xP
But I like your use of camera angles too!

Monkey:

Your predictions might be correct... :)

Thanks! Haha.

Silver Fox:

Well that's good, I was just trying to make sure. On certain other zombie brick-comics (BotD), people have mistaken a zombie biting a man in the jugular for a zombie puking blood on said man... So I wasn't sure! ;)

And thanks, I'm glad you liked the camera angles.

MadameLecter:

Well, a crazy man with a gun doesn't necessarily have 100% accuracy, so it's predictable he might miss. At a short distance, anyway.

And thanks, I had fun with the camera angles this time!

I'm a crazy man. And I can hit the mark. Shooting gangsta style, too.

Ha! That may be true!

But you have to imagine, this guy is mentally unstable, and simply bought a gun and has no training with it whatsoever.

I think a better comment on the accuracy and shooting is how much practice does the guy have? Did he go out and just buy that gun? Or has he had practice at the range, ect?

Well, by training, I also meant practice in general.

He may have waved around a little bit behind closed doors, but, being crazy, never thought to actually practice firing it before he planned to use it.

So he just bought it one day, has probably been carrying it around for a few months, and has finally lost it after being fired.

How did you make that muzzle flash. It was masterfully done.

Thank you! I'm glad you like it.

I started with two white ovals in Photoshop: one more horizontal, the other more vertical and on the left side of the horizontal oval.

Then, I used the smudge tool to make the muzzle flash "spikey."

Finally, I blurred it slightly, and added a nice orange-ish glow.
