Through some disaster of life in general, combined with more camera problems, lack of creative energy, and script edits which ended up forcing me to re-write the next few episodes... I failed to post a comic last week.
That's the worst I've done yet. To make up for it, I'm releasing two episodes today. (Technically, it's still Monday where I am.)
...
The TV in the last panel took almost as long to finish as the the entire episode by itself! But I'm fairly pleased with the results.
I actually put this episode together BEFORE Episode 9.
Also, fans of BlockTales will recognize the conference room from my BlockTales guest strip. There was no TV in the guest strip.
And the conference table was actually half as long! I used my tripod to keep my camera in the same place, and took 2 pictures for the scene with the table (one for each half of the table.) I then combined the halves in Photoshop.
However, I'm pleased to say that the conference table in this episode is 100% real.
That TV! Am....so....jealous...right....now! Mustgetyoutomakeatvthingylikethatformeoneday! *all said in Cartman from South Park's voice*
Very sweet... 2 episodes! And the zombie madness begins! Sortof... it's a cliff hanger.
I am also impress once again by your use of elements for like the table and this time around, the wall t.v.
MADAMELECTER: Thanks! I'm not a South Park fan, but I can imagine all the same!
I may be able to "make a tv thingy like that" for you one day, depending on what you mean... Do you mean:
a) The design of the brick-built TV itself
b) the effect of the image being put on the TV screen, or
c) the newscaster in the news show
I'm assuming you mean 'b'... In which case I can probably help if necessary!
SILVER FOX: Thanks! And yeah, sorry... It's kind of pathetic that by the 10-week anniversary of Zombie Outbrick, there still aren't any actual zombies! But they'll be here soon enough, I assure you...
And I'm glad you like the table and TV! It was interesting trying to find all the pieces I had in mind for the TV, there's some pretty rare pieces in there (like a black 1x1 square tile.)
Hey, two new episodes... nice ;)
Yeah, the TV looks absolutely amazing!
Now our poor hero has another reason to hate mondays haha!
Thanks Adelaide!
And I suppose that's true! Keep watching, and you'll see the list grow longer.
It depends. In my comic, you are technically, reading, but I would say, WATCHING, because it's a T.V. program.
I suppose "watching" could still be valid in this case, as you're watching out for what happens next.
