See? The Boss is ok after all. As it turns out, the doorway only looked dark.
By the way, don't forget to look out for the next episode of Zombie Outbrick this Friday!
I hope you guys enjoy this episode! I'm not entirely sure I like how these pictures turned out... what do you guys think? Do they look ok to you? Too dark, maybe? I don't know...
Also, what do you think of that last panel?
dude, awesome decals on your figures.
If you update more you could rival Bricks of the Dead!
Thanks, legoman216!
I'm certainly working on the "updating more" part. Last week and this week, at least, extra episodes are coming out on Fridays!
And I'm glad you like the decals.
Don't you remember? Check out Episodes 7-9. Especially Episode 9. ;)
So the boss is okay... it's just somebody else screaming...
And it's never good when a body gets up and leave.
The panels look fine overall, the last shot though is slightly blurry where the door is at. Like your camera was auto focused on the two blood spots and everything else blurred.
Still very good over all.
Yup. You'll see who very soon.
And no, it never is...
And in that last panel, I intentioinally blurred and darkened the edges slightly in Photoshop, to focus more dramatically on the blood spots.
Do you think it doesn't look good that way? I could certainly remove the effect and re-upload the page, if it justs looks sloppy and out of focus.
Anyway, thanks, I'm glad you think it's good overall.
It looks good for that last panel with it focusing in on the blood. If that's the effect you want, then leave it that way.
Ah, that's good, I'll leave it then.
Thanks very much for the feedback, anyway!
hey i'm back and i wantyed to say...Nice jjob on an amazing and mystery type of story i love this plot and i hope this comic goes up next to BOTD like at the same level becuase it's a great and original storyline with alot of readers(hopefully more after i reveiw it on youtube)and...that's pretty much it well bye!
Thanks, tyzan! I'm very glad you're enjoying it. I haven't seen you around in a while.
Hopefully Zombie Outbrick will eventually "go up next to BotD" in terms of greatness...
Fortunately, I've fiddled things around a little bit, and now Zombie Outbrick is literally next to BotD when you search for "lego zombie comic" on Google! (It comes up as the 5th result, with BotD as the first 3 or so.)
Also, anything you do to promote Zombie Outbrick would be greatly appreciated!
I'm honored that you'd review Zombie Outbrick and try to get me more readers. Be sure to post a link to your YouTube review at some point, once you've done it, and I'll write a blog post about it.
I'll reveiw it soon as i get my sisters android she's giving it too me but she's in colloge sooo...yeah.
anyway this looks like t would make a good movie in my opinon.I have'nt been around oftn becuase my modem broke and i had to wait for a new one seriously go check out the other comics i read!
Ah, well no rush! Whenever you do it is fine.
And I've been thinking along the same lines, in terms of this making a good movie... There actually was a strop-motion Zombie Outbrick short-film in production at one point, but I scrapped it because of dialogue (and time) issues.
I might end up making the first 30 or 40 episodes into a stop-motion movie at some point, but I think I'll wait quite a bit before I do that. (There's not enough story in 19 episodes for a movie yet, but I also don't want to get ahead of myself and reveal what will happen in future episodes.)
And I'd be open to checking out the other comics you read... Except that I'm not quite sure which ones those are (except for BotD, which I read already.)
Very nice. I particularly like your phone design on the desk. And the blur effects in the last panel. Do you use GIMP?
Great comic you've got here! I was a little hesitant (I'm not the biggest fan of zombies) But you've got me convinced!
Thank you very much, Robina! (Or Puckette ;) )
Sadly, I don't think I can claim the phone design as my own; I believe I've seen it used in another brick comic. Although, I didn't directly copy the design, so it's hard to tell if it's "original" or not... I suppose that's not terribly important, though.
And I'm glad you like the blur effects in the last panel. After Silver Fox's comment, I was worried it just looked like a camera malfunction!
I have tried using GIMP, but I prefer to stick to Photoshop Elements 6.0. It's a real version of Photoshop, but on a budget! (Not to mention I think I got it at a discounted price, as it came with my new computer a few years ago.) It's not free, but it's very versatile and relatively easy to use.
Also, it's really great to hear that you're enjoying Zombie Outbrick, despite the fact you're not a big zombie fan. That really means a lot!
I hope you continue to enjoy it. :)
