Things aren't looking good for Officer Davis... And it seems that the Policeman (Officer Peterson) is too stunned to do anything...
As you can see, this episode is another one of those 5-panel setups. I spent quite a long time on the photography for this episode anyway, especially on the last panel. (Which I must have re-taken about 15 times.)
What do you guys think of that last panel?
Damn... that's fairly gory for a brick comic.
So... that's what lego mace looks like?
Yeah, I suppose it is pretty gory. I kind of needed it to be, in order to show what our Policeman lived through.
And mace, Star Wars clonetrooper headlamp, it's all the same thing. ;)
I have a hard time visualizing a can of mace stuck to a Clone Trooper's helmet... j/k :D
I'm sure it's been done before! It'd make for a good defense, in a zombie apocalypse I'm going for pepper-spray helmets. ;)
"Awwww, look at dat widdle guy, getting his arm ripped off by zombies!" ;)
You'd think so, but as soon as that adrenaline gets pumping, you can't really feel the pain. At least, that's my experience. ;) Although I've never had my arm ripped off...
Yes, yes you did. And you also saw him in the foreground of the last panel.
What makes you say that? What if all the zombies eating Davis surrounded Peterson and ate him too? ;)
Haha, exactly. I was mostly joking, thus the winky face.
I mean, if Officer Peterson is telling us what happened that morning, then he couldn't have died, or else he wouldn't have "lived to tell the tale."
I was being sarcastic. And I meant to say, Officer DAVIS. My bad. :)
Thanks Lee, I'm glad you like it! I actually used a dark red arm, with a (regular) red hand, to simulate the dark clothing and light skin being soaked with blood (although you can't see the hand.)
What kind of coward would run away from his problems? Officer Peterson is man! (Or at least, for now he is...)
We'll have to see if our Policeman here follows your advice.
He can be a man all he wants while turning...
The smart officer shall be huddled in a building with scared women who need hugs!
Hey man, Decided to finally come over and check out your website, nice work man :D
P.s I'm from Bricks of the Dead btw
Hey Nekrospike! I'm very glad you decided to check out Zombie Outbrick, thanks for commenting! :) I'm glad you like it.
And I remember you from the comments on BotD, you just had your birthday a little while ago. I really like your new "HAZMAT Zombie" avatar there by the way, it's very unique. (You could put it here, too, if you signed up for a reader account on ComicFury. ;) )
Actually seeing what Davis went through, I actually think he was kind of clam a couple strips back! I'd be shooting anything that moved! Well he kinda did but that's not the point ;)
Do you mean Officer Peterson? (I really should get cracking on a Character Bio page...)
Officer Peterson is the Policeman (the one whose flashback this is)
Officer Davis is the other officer who's currently being ripped limb from limb by zombies.
If you do mean Officer Peterson (and also "calm" instead of "clam" ;) ) than I suppose he was. He's been trying to remain as calm as possible all day, then he shot anything that moved.
Also, if you mean that he seemed kind of calm about the flashback, that's because he's kind of emotionally detaching from it - he's kind of gotten a bit distant, or else he probably wouldn't be able to keep it together through the recounting of what had happened.
I like how about 60% of that reply was purely grammar corrections... Oh internet! What have you done to me!?!
Haha, not quite "corrections," but rather clarifications. But I know what you mean, the Internet has certainly not been kind to the English language.
