Officer Peterson has taken action once again... and now poor Karen can barely take what has happened in front of her. Chris, too, is stunned... but could this be another step in their understanding of their situation?
I hope everyone enjoys this episode! I ended up putting quite a bit of extra work on the blood effects, this time around. This included trying out some new techniques, like for the puddle of blood under the zombie.

Haha, keep it up and you'll be promoted from captain to general!
I'm mostly joking, there's nothing wrong with pointing out seemingly-obvious things. After all, it makes for a good discussion of the zombie genre in general.
I always thought that zombie stories should start out very slowly, to be more realistic. I suppose it's kind of ironic that 38 episodes into a zombie comic, the characters still are unaware of what they're dealing with... ;)

the blood effect is awesome :)
i like the way you build up the suspense, although the boss hasn't said anything in a while. he looks like he's about to sneak off but if he does that then he'll get bitten by a zombie, what a plot twist;)
seriously though, if one of the guys get bitten it will add to the drama brilliantly like what Dave's done on bricks of the dead.

And the Boss's apparent silence is unintentional. I kind of forgot to give him any lines recently, but he does have some dialogue coming up.
And I've been considering letting a character get bitten, but I'm not sure if that'll happen yet or not. I know that some of my readers rather dislike character deaths (or zombifications, at least.) On the other hand, it might add to the drama and suspense nicely, as you pointed out... (and Jeff's case in BotD has been interesting...) We'll have to see what happens.

That we know of? A whopping, grand total of two.
It just seems like more, because one of them got killed twice. ;)
