Perhaps the crashing noise came from a seemingly-empty, and completely dark, office... Officer Peterson wants to leave, but Chris insists that the noise must be investigated... But what will they find inside the room?
My apologies for slight lateness on this episode. I thought I'd have an on-time release, but I ran out of time to finish the editing last night, although I did manage to get it halfway finished. At least it's not a two-week delay, this time...
Also, this is the 50th episode of Zombie Outbrick! In celebration, I have made some improvements to this site.
The first is a minor detail; that pesky grey bar near the bottom of the site, slightly above the black bar at the very bottom (which also sometimes displays behind the comic images) has been removed.
Secondly, in an attempt to clean up site navigation somewhat, I have attempted a dropdown navigation menu for "Comics."
Let me know what you think of this episode, and the site improvements so far!
(Please do let me know if the dropdown navigation isn't working for any reason.)
The dropdown menu is working, sort of...
It appears over the ZO logo at the top, so it's unreachable.
Needs some work, obviously.
I tried Chrome and Firefox.
Hmm... Thanks for letting me know.
I don't know why it's doing that, I'm looking into how to get it working properly.
You can still click on "Comics" without using any of the dropdown options to get to the latest comic page.
Ditto to the unreachable.
It looks good so far...
And what will they find? Another zombie!
There, I've fixed the "Comics" button dropdown navigation menu somewhat. It doesn't display perfectly in Safari, but it's functional, at least. (I perfected it in Safari, only to find it was no longer functional in Internet Explorer.)
Is it at least functional in other browsers now?
Let's see what we have so far...rampaging gunmen, corpses that come back to life and eat people, city-wide riots fueled by said creatures, we've already seen and dispatched two of them, and just barely, our dear police officer had already emptied his pistol, and now we've heard a scary sound. Let's check it out! Just love it. :P
I don't know if you've actually found the time to fix the dropdown menu for the comics, but it worked fine for me on Firefox.
And I should have read further since it looks like you did fix it ^.^;
Hah, that's ok!
Thanks for telling me that it works in Firefox; I only knew that it worked in my versions of Internet Explorer and Safari beforehand. :)
Excellent!
And thank you!
Also, may I inquire as to why your avatar is sideways?
It just looks cool.
I wanted both hands on the gun and this was the only way to get that effect (sort of).
And may I inquire as to why the new comic isn't up yet?
Or is it still yesterday in your timezone? Because it is now tomorrow in mine, and I'm still waiting for #51...
Ah, that makes some sense, at least.
And you've caught me out... I've still got an hour left of "Friday" in my timezone, but I meant to release Episode 51 a while ago.
Unfortunately, I've been very preoccupied and tired today.
I'll try to get 51 out in about an hour to an hour and a half; if not then, it'll come out tomorrow (6-12 hours from now.)
Sorry to keep you waiting! :)
Where is the new comic?
It has been a lot more than 12 hours
I apologize, it has indeed been a lot more than 12 hours...
I'm afraid I've been a little sidetracked recently. I also have been somewhat tired out by the holiday season.
I'm not quite ready to commit to a certain date, but I will say that updates will be resuming in the near future! :)
Oh don't worry, I would be able to wait but the suspense is killing me! literally!
Oh dear, I don't want to be a murderer then...
I am planning to resume updates this Monday, if all goes well. ;)
Unfortunately not yet...
I've been having a slew of computer issues lately, including the dreaded BSOD (blue screen of death), and I've also been incredibly preoccupied with other projects. I'm HOPING I'll be able to get an episode out this coming Moday, as long as my computer functions properly.
I'd like to apologize to anyone checking this page; I know it's been a long time, but I'm doing my best to get updates going again!
Bah! Computer problems suck.
Good luck to you then.
I shall try to remain a faithful reader.
They sure do, Silver Fox. Life problems suck almost equally as much.
And thanks, I'll need it!
It seems you've been one of the most faithful readers of this comic, and I certainly hope you remain so.
I'll be working on new episodes today. In fact, I now have the next 5-6 episodes already scripted. With any luck, I'll find enough time this weekend to shoot and edit a few episodes and get a buffer going, so this doesn't happen as often.
Wow, your computer must be rubbish
What computer do you have? I have a dell Inspiron laptop and I hardly have any trouble with it
I have a Dell XPS 420, I think it's around 3 or 4 years old now, but still not quite rubbish.
I don't have many problems with it, but I've been doing a lot of 3D graphics work for another project I'm working on. I did some funky things to it to see if it could make the rendering go faster. (For the computer savvy, I created an incredibly massive paging file on an external hard drive.) I think I figured out what I did wrong, and it seems everything is back to normal now. Hopefully I won't have any more problems, now that I know what not to do! ;)
